Graduation

During our University's 164th Commencement Exercises, I attended as faculty and watched some of my former students graduate. I brought my sketch pad, so after some time I went drawing. This is the colored version of that sketch (colored in Photoshop). Took me about 3 days, in between work and study.

As with some of my works, I alternate between vector-anime style and a semi-realistic painted style.

I am incredibly grateful to watch my students graduate; I do hope that they have treated their subjects not merely as obstacles in their career, but value their lessons and challenges as well.
